The Honua Kai Resort and Spa is a terrific, brand-new upscale condominium located on North Kaanapali Beach just north of the main Kaanapali resort area and famous Black Rock. This deluxe resort is located on a sandy, swimming beach and offers sharp-looking, luxury units with full kitchens. The Honua Kai offers studio, one, two & three bedroom units with either a resort view, partial ocean view or full ocean view and the on-site amenities include 3 pools, jacuzzi, 2 restaurants (one of them is the brand new, world-famous Duke's), room service, Honua Kai Spa (opening late 2010), fitness center, full-service concierge, children's program and a pool & beach activity center. All of the spacious, well-appointed units include a full kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, range, microwave & dishwasher, air conditioning, cable flat-screen TV, DVD player, telephone, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, separate tub & shower, safe, washer/dryer, wireless internet access & a lanai.
I have personally visited the Honua Kai just this year and from the moment you arrive, the front desk welcomes you with an Aloha spirit ensuring you of a smooth check-in so that you can quickly begin to enjoy your time on Maui. The open-air atmosphere outside of the main check-in area offers a stunning view of the property and the blue Pacific Ocean. The wonderful concierge staff at the Honua Kai can assist you with anything you wish to do on Maui from making reservations for tours to dinner reservations at any of the world-famous restaurants located on the island of Maui.
For guests wishing to venture out on the island of Maui, there are so many outdoor activities to choose from. My two daughters, ages 12 & 11, just went Parasailing this past May and had an experience of a lifetime. There are many other activities to do on Maui including golfing on championship golf courses, visiting the top of Mt. Haleakala for the awesome sunrise, stand-up paddleboarding, snorkelng, ziplining, hiking and many more fun adventures for adults & children.
